WELCOME TO THE HIVE

We’re located at 88 Thames Street, Pandora, Napier. Drive to the very end of the street, around the corner, and you’ll see our car park through the black gates on the right. We have space for 15 cars, but if the car park is full, there’s plenty of parking along Thames Street. You can enter through the small pedestrian gate to the right of the main gates.

Please be mindful that we’re near the shipping container yards, so keep an eye out for trucks coming and going as you arrive and leave.

Facilities

Our entry foyer is the heart of the gym — the place where you can purchase drinks or supplements, and fill up your water bottle before your session. If you’re visiting for an appointment with Devine Physiotherapy, a massage, or a consultation, you’re welcome to wait here until your appointment time.

While you’re in the foyer, take a moment to check out our community board for information about upcoming events and other happenings at the gym. You’ll also find the names of members who have joined the 100, 500, and 1000 Club — we hope to see your name up there soon, too!

If you follow the hallway to the left, you’ll find our bathroom facilities. We have three gender-neutral toilets, three showers, and a changing room. Lockers are also available for members with a full membership.

 

 

Pandora Studio

This is our primary Strength and Conditioning Studio, where most of our classes take place — including SWARM, our signature program.

The space is fully equipped with Concept 2 rowers, Rogue Echo bikes, barbells, medicine balls,  kettlebells, and dumbbells, along with a large pull-up rig that features five squat racks — everything you need for an awesome and effective workout.

We designed this studio to be the ideal size for our small-group, focused classes. When needed, we can expand the area by opening it up to our PT Studio and outdoor space, giving us even more room to move.

Ahuriri Studio

Our second group fitness studio is a truly multi-functional space, home to some of our specialty programs and our ever-popular Youth Club.

If you have gym-only access, this will likely be your go-to spot for your own training sessions.

This studio shares bikes, rowers, kettlebells, dumbbells, and medicine balls with the Pandora Studio but also boasts its own collection of barbells and plates, so you’ll always have what you need to smash your workout.

The versatile multi-functional rig offers endless training possibilities, with two squat racks ready for strength work — and, of course, our basketball hoop, perfect for a fun warm-up or a quick game between sets!

PT Studio

Tucked away in the back corner of the gym, you’ll find our more private Personal Training (PT) Studio — a dedicated space for one-on-one sessions with our trainers or physio. When it’s not in use, you’re welcome to jump in and make it your own training zone.

When we host bigger classes or special sessions, we’ll open up the doors to connect it with the Pandora Studio, creating one big, versatile training space.

This studio is fully kitted out with everything you need: dumbbells, kettlebells, slam balls, barbells and plates, plus a cable machine, Echo Bikes, a Concept2 BikeErg, Free Runner Treadmill, and a Concept2 Strength Erg. The pull-up rig even has two squat bays, giving you plenty of options to level up your workout.

 

Client Lounge

Head upstairs and you’ll find our lounge and stretch zone — the perfect spot to chill before or after class. Grab a seat at the table to catch up on a bit of work, sink into the comfy chairs with a book, or kick off your shoes and foam roll your way to feeling fresh.

We also use this space for our stretch classes and fun community events — from birthday parties to movie nights, it’s a place to relax, connect, and just enjoy being part of The Hive.
