Our classes are inspired by CrossFit and incorporate effective training methods including Weightlifting, Gymnastics, and High-Intensity Interval Training, delivered with purpose.
Our training methods are designed to produce tangible results for all levels of fitness; from young adults to competitive athletes, and everything in between. We work with our clients very closely to ensure that our sessions are scaled and modified to suit each individual’s current level of fitness, and skill level.
SWARM is our primary Strength & Conditioning class. Each class is 1 hr, during which time you will be lead through a warm-up, Skill/Strength and/or WOD (Workout of the Day), followed by a cool down/stretching. Our coaches are here to guide you through the session and ensure you get the most from your hour adapting any movements you can’t do to keep your safe and progressing.
The goal of our training program is to make you more athletic, but not necessarily an athlete. It is through this approach we can cater for a broad range of clients from all levels of experience. We get to know you and adapt each session to be at your level whilst still challenging you a little bit each day through skills practice, strength training and high-intensity functional workouts.
Whether you are a 20yr old looking to compete, a 35yr old wanting to ensure you can keep up with your kids, or a retiree wanting to ensure you keep an active and healthy lifestyle, this class will get you there.
If you are ready to START CrossFit and join our SWARM classes, then this is for you.
Offering up to four hours of personal training at times that suit you, our START sessions are designed to teach you the principles and foundations that make up our training program. This is also an extremely valuable time to get to know you and where your current level of fitness and movement competency allowing us to adapt our SWARM classes effectively and efficiently.
It also offers you the chance to get to know us, and our training philosophy before you join.
Inspired by Yin Yoga, but adapted to offer a complimentary class to our Strength and Conditioning program.
If you know you need to stretch, but also know you won’t (and going to a Yoga studio seems like a step to far) this is for YOU.
This practice is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably, by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, spine and shoulders).
Our mobility class involves variations of seated, lying and standing poses typically held for 1 to 3 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia, as well as utilising other mobility tools such as foam rollers.
Suitable for all levels of experience, and perfect for those who have never done yoga. Bring your own mat or towel please.
Specifically designed for kids and young adults aged 8 and up, the Hive Youth program offers a safe, fun & energetic fitness class that uses a combination of skills practice, workouts, and fitness games to build strength and conditioning in kids.
Our youth program strives to help kids develop good lifelong habits, improve self-confidence and develop a strong foundation of movement and core strength.
All sessions run for 30/45 minutes, led by a qualified CrossFit Kids trainer to ensure the exercises and intensity and appropriate to each child.
PLAY + OPEN GYM
Test your speed, agility, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. In this class, we use a series of individual, partner, and team games, keeping things fun and keeping you on your toes. This class requires additional planning based on numbers so booking closes 12 hrs before the class starts. Please only book if you are committed to attending.
Open access to the gym for accessory, skill and technique work. Arrive with a plan for what you want to work on. Please be considerate to others in the gym when using equipment and space. A coach will be on-site but may be otherwise preoccupied.

We will work with you to clearly define some goals and outline a progressive strategy to efficiently achieve the results you are looking for. the hive online – on-demand fitness
The Hive Online service offers access to three video libraries containing over 200 videos (and growing every day). From movement demonstrations, workout demonstrations, stretch/mobility sessions, and a daily follow-along interval workout, you have all the resources you need at your fingertips to keep training no matter where you are, or how busy you are.
Best of all, you can filter all the videos by equipment and muscle groups as well as search for specific movements or workout types so you can easily find exactly what you need.
Included free in your membership or via a subscription service so even if you can’t join us at The Hive, you can still join the team.
