Mums and Bubs – Fitness for You, Fun for Them

Our Mums and Bubs class is the perfect mix of fitness, fun, and community — designed for new mums and mums-to-be looking to build or rebuild strength, improve mobility, and boost confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

Each session includes bodyweight exercises, light dumbbells, and kettlebell movements that focus on core stability, functional strength, and overall conditioning. Workouts are scaled to your level and stage of pregnancy or postpartum recovery, ensuring you train safely and effectively.

Babies can relax or play safely nearby while you move through your workout. And for mums-to-be, every session is adapted to keep your training comfortable and beneficial throughout your pregnancy journey.

With small group sessions and personalized coaching, you’ll progress at your own pace while connecting with a supportive community of women sharing similar experiences. Whether you’re easing back into exercise, maintaining strength during pregnancy, or looking to level up, this class is the perfect balance of sweat, smiles, and support.

No more searching for a car-park with safe off street parking right out front of the gym.
We have a large carpark at the very end of the street, drive past Devine Plumbing, around the little corner and you'll see our gates on the right.
Our classes are programmed for 45-60mins - we have allowed some flexibility in the class time to make sure there is no rush or pressure against the clock as we know with our little ones, things don't always run to plan.
Generally, each session will cover a full body workout comprising of three main sections:

> Warm up: including dynamic stretching and specific prep.
> Strength: Self paced strength sets with a focus to upper body, lower body and/or core.
> Circuit: Intervals incorporating body weight, kettlebells and dumbbells allowing you to work at your intensity.

All movements can easily be adapted to ensure you are able to train safely and comfortably.
Absolutely! We ask that you please keep an eye on them, but this session is designed to give you a safe space for you to train with your little one nearby.

While the class is primary designed for mums with babies under 12months, we are happy for kids of all ages to be brought along - all we ask is you take responsibly of ensuring they are supervised.

For older kids, they are welcome to make use of our lounge upstairs.
For the most flexibility we recommend purchasing a concession pass, however we also offer a membership option of 3 sessions per week for $40, or 3+ sessions for $50 per week.

The membership option gives you access to any of the Mums & Bubs classes as well as our Stretch class.

Our membership is an open term, meaning you are not locked into a contract and can change the membership as needed to best suit your needs
Yes. We use Influx to manage all our classes - you can book into the session via the app. We keep our classes small, so we ask you honor your bookings, or cancel the session as soon as possible if you can no longer make it.

You can book up to 1 week in advance. If a class is showing full, please waitlist so we know there is demand for a day and we can work to resolve this by opening up more spaces or adding more sessions if this becomes a regular occurrence.

Sessions cancelled within 1hr of the class will be returned back to your membership allowance or concession pass, however 'no shows' or late cancellations may result in loosing that session off your weekly allowance or pass.

We understand sometimes life happens so please contact us to discuss if you are having challenges making the class.
Please bring a drink bottle and wear shoes and comfortable clothing - we recommend light layers that can be removed as you warm up.

We will have some play mats and toys for the kids, however please bring anything you think will help keep them comfortable and entertained.
At The Hive, we prioritise small group training, so we tend to keep our classes small to give you the best experience. For our Mums & Bubs class we will generally aim to have no more than 8-10 in the class, however we may occasionally open up a few extra spaces by adapting the programming and using the additional studios.
